Swift and efficient machine installation
To be able to use the full performance potential of a highly dynamic heavy machine, this is frequently anchored to the ground when it is installed.
In many cases, the stiffening effect of a rigid clamped installation is wanted to ensure that the machine fulfils the precision requirements.
Although the retaining force of conventional ridig clamped anchors - where the anchor bolts are cast with non-shrinking mortar during installation - is very high, the force is only effective after several weeks. (The applicable standard describes the retaining forces 48 days after casting).
Chemical heavy-duty anchors, in contrast, show almost their full anchoring force after only a few hours. The easy and safe handling of these compound mortars drastically reduces the installation times. The achieved retaining forces reach values that withstand most of the requirements, even during continuous load.
The inside-thread anchor is used more and more often. Together with a chemical mortar cartridge, it is bonded into the floor so that the evenness of the floor remains unaffected. Thanks to the larger bonding surfaces (with the same anchor rod threads), the tensioning forces are even higher.
Load-lifting equipment can run over inside-thread anchors that are flush with the floor without any problems. The machine you want to align and level can thus be put down directly onto the wedge mounts. After the machine has been leveled, you can insert the anchor rods through machine foot and wedge mount, and secure them. The anchors can withstand the full load already after a few hours.
The tedious process of lowering the machine over the bonded anchor rods, including the high risk of damaging bonded or cast threaded rods is thus a thing of the past.
